I have to be completely honest with you guys. I was kinda scared to write about this on my blog because some people relate HEMP oil with smoking marihuana.  It has NOTHING to do with it. Even though the oil is extracted from the same plant,  when you use it as part of your skin care routine, it’s not going to get you high, it’s not going to affect your lungs and it is legal.

HEMP contains high levels of antioxidants, fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins that are amazing for your skin, hair, and overall health, so when #HEMPLIFE sent me a box full of organic products to try, I couldn’t say no.

The Hemplife Subscription Box was a monthly supply of bath products made by various Artisans using HEMP oil as the main natural ingredient. Their website is not working anymore, so I guess they’re out of business, but the companies that supplied the products are still open!

As you can see in the video below, it came with Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Bath Bomb, Candle, Lip Balm, Deodorant and Body Lotion. The lotion made by Luminous Stone is very buttery and leaves your skin shinny, so use it on  your legs if you want them to look amazing. The Herbology Organics Lip Balm: I’m obsessed. It also has organic coconut oil and it smells like Asian Pear. The soap (called Dirty Hippie) smells like Patchouli which I love. It also has goat’s milk to make your skin softer. The shampoo and conditioner (Wild Nettle Apothecary) are great. They retail for $32 (the pair) and they made my hair look super healthy. I still haven’t tried the  deodorant just because it takes some time to do the transition and I want to do it during the holidays so I don’t have to go to work smelling funny 🙂 The scent of the candle (made by Thera Products) is so relaxing. I use it while I meditate. It calms me down. And finally, the bath bomb (by Bethany BathHouse), how can I explain the sensation you get when you use this little bomb of pleasure? Well, I guess you just have to give it a try.
